Asphodel Public School/College functions amidst today's changing education scenario and tries to fill in that void which is left by organizations without any proper direction. APS tries to build a link between the students and their objectives through the process of achieving the goals in a peaceful environment provided by teachers and staff who care for the boarding students as their own family.

As a coeducational institution, Asphodel Public School aims at instilling basic human values such as truth, good conduct, peace, love, and non-violence in the educational process. Students are encouraged to achieve maximum growth physically, mentally, and spiritually. The school/college has an interesting relationship with Project Nepal which is an affiliate of the Education Department of Lulea University of Technology in Lulea, Sweden. Under this association, teachers and students share technology, teaching methods, and culture. Project Nepal is presently funding the students of the organization and has formed a committee to make it an Environmental Model School.
