Janaki Secondary School

Janaki Secondary School is a public school that is situated in Mahatgauda, Pokhara-17, Kaski. The school is known for its “Earning while learning” skill training program where students from 5th to 8th grade create bamboo products such as pen stands and traditional “dhakiya” baskets. These projects are funded by the Education Development Directorate, Gandaki Province. Even the products prepared by the students are presented to the respected dignitaries of the locality such as the Mayor of Pokhara.
